The University of Nebraska system manages hundreds of sites, comprising about 32 million square feet of facilities across four campuses and an affiliated health organization. In 2020, the five institutions worked with JLL Technologies (JLLT) to consolidate their real estate technology on one cloud-based IWMS platform. The main goals of this project were to reduce the cost of managing the facilities portfolio, streamline operations, obtain more accurate data about facilities and, through data analysis, gain timely insights that would save additional money and drive even greater efficiency.
