A new Center for Digital Government survey of local government leaders found that more than half of respondents increased public participation over the past year by using virtual conference technology, social media and other digital engagement tools. More than a third of respondents said they plan to adopt new digital engagement tools in the next six to 12 months. This brief offers practical advice for using these new tools effectively.
