In March 2019, the Center for Digital Government (CDG) surveyed 139 state and local government leaders and employees on the topic of workplace safety. While workplace safety is a top concern, the survey revealed agencies may be lagging in implementing the policies, strategies and technologies needed to effectively prepare for and respond to events that threaten employee safety.
