A new survey shows that state and local agencies are modernizing operational technologies -- the systems that manage infrastructure, vehicle fleets, machinery and facilities -- to boost productivity and cut costs. Almost half of survey respondents also said severe weather events and natural disasters are increasing the need for new tools.
