The vast majority of state and local government workforces will never return to the office full-time, according to national research conducted by the Center for Digital Government. This report presents results from the survey indicating that government organizations are in the middle of big changes in how they operate, both internally and in terms of public-facing services – but especially around the future of work for public employees.
