Government Emergency Rental Assistance

Millions of Americans are unemployed and struggling to retain housing for their families. There is $25B in funding for rental assistance that has been appropriated as part of the Coronavirus Relief Bill Rental Assistance Program (CRBRA). $25B is expected to be distributed by the US Treasury to states and local governments. The Emergency Rental Assistance program makes available $25B to assist households that are unable to pay rent and utilities due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
