Is Passwordless Security Right for Government?

Passwords are typically the weakest link in security measures. All too often they are simple, shared or reused — making them easy for cybercriminals to guess or steal, then use in an attack on government systems. A new model of passwordless security is emerging to eliminate the problems associated with traditional, password-based access to networks and applications. This model is also a step toward a Zero Trust security approach, which can help governments strengthen cyber protections.
