Until recently, Roseville relied on SunGard’s Integrated Financial and Administrative Solution (IFAS), which was implemented in 1996. The system had limited support and lacked modern functionality. As a result, Roseville relied on paper-intensive processes, lacked integration between HR and Finance, and had difficulty generating data to meet its Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) regulatory reporting requirements for its electric utility. To better meet its needs, this fast-growing city turned to an integrated, cloud-based finance and human resources solution that reduced paper and improved efficiencies.
